Why we built it

A missed call is usually a missed customer. The emergency at eleven at night, the call that arrives while you are under a sink with both hands busy - that job goes to whoever picks up first. Hiring someone to sit by the phone costs more than most small firms can justify, so the calls keep going unanswered.

SwiftGuard was built with input from tradespeople across Europe, and it is still built that way.

Who runs it

SwiftGuard is built and run by Daan van den Bergh, who founded it in 2026 in Bilthoven, the Netherlands. The registered business behind it is SwiftGuard AI, a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) listed with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce. There is no call centre behind it - the agent answers, and what it hears goes to you.
