How much are missed calls costing your business?
Not because the work isn’t good - because nobody picked up. The numbers below are why that keeps happening.
You’re knee-deep in a boiler repair. Your phone rings. You can’t answer.
A pipe has burst. They call you. You’re asleep - so they call the next plumber.
Everything a great receptionist does. On every inbound call.
Never misses a call
Answers within two rings, day or night, so every emergency is a job, not a voicemail. Every call logged - who rang, what they needed, whether they booked.*
Speaks your callers’ language
Your agent greets everyone in the language you pick. If a caller answers in another, it switches over mid-conversation and carries on - so the customer who isn’t a local still gets booked in.
Books before they hang up
Captures name, address, and problem, then locks a real slot from your live availability - never a double-booking.
Every call written down for you
Listen back to any call or read the transcript - who rang, what they needed, what was agreed. Kept for 90 days, then deleted.
No caller left at a dead end
Anything it can’t handle, it says so honestly, takes a message, and flags the call for your callback.
You choose how fast we pick up. Send us all your calls and we answer within two rings; send us only the ones you can’t take, and your own phone rings out first - about 20 seconds on most networks - before the call reaches us.
Built for one trade,
not for everyone
SwiftGuard is built for the calls plumbing and heating businesses actually get - burst pipes, no hot water, boiler service, annual checks. That focus is why it books the job instead of taking a message.
Plumbing
Emergency leaks, blocked drains, bathroom installs and repairs - sorted by how urgent they are and booked into the right slot.
Heating
Boiler breakdowns, no heat or hot water, servicing and annual safety checks - with the make and the fault noted before you arrive.
Electrical, roofing and other home-service trades are next. Tell us what you do and we’ll bring you on as soon as your call types are covered.
Watch a call
become a booking.
Every call follows the same path. SwiftGuard answers, hears the problem, captures the details that matter, and books the slot - while you stay on the tools.

Frequently asked questions
What is SwiftGuard?
SwiftGuard is the AI receptionist on your phone line. When you can’t pick up, it answers in your company’s name, takes the caller’s details, and books the job into your calendar - nights, weekends, mid-repair. It was founded in 2026 by Daan van den Bergh in Bilthoven, the Netherlands, and serves plumbing and heating businesses across Europe.
Is SwiftGuard an answering service or a virtual receptionist?
Both jobs, without a person on the line. Like a telephone answering service it picks up the calls you miss, 24/7, in your company’s name; like a virtual receptionist it takes the caller’s details and books the job straight into your calendar while they are still on the line. That makes SwiftGuard an AI receptionist, with no call centre behind it.
Is SwiftGuard only for plumbers, or also for heating engineers and installers?
It is built for the whole trade: plumbers, heating engineers and installation businesses, from a sole trader to a firm with several vans out. Every call gets the same treatment - answered in your company’s name, the details captured, the job booked into your calendar.
Does it sound like a real person?
It speaks and answers back without that awkward pause, so the call feels like a normal conversation. It won’t be identical to a person, but in a short booking call people find it clear, calm, and easy to talk to. If a caller would rather speak to you, it takes their details and flags the call so you can ring them back.
What if the caller insists on a human?
SwiftGuard does one focused job: greet, capture the details, book a slot. Anything outside that, it says so honestly, takes a message, and flags the call in your dashboard for a callback. No caller is left without a next step.
Which calendars does it support?
Google Calendar. It checks your real availability before offering any slot, so it never double-books you. If you keep your diary somewhere else, tell us which one - that is how we decide what to build next.
Is it GDPR-compliant for European customers?
Yes. Calls and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest, and deleted after 90 days - recording included. We never sell data. Every call opens by telling the caller they’re speaking to an assistant answering on your behalf. Our data processing agreement is published on the site, so you can read it before you sign up.
What happens with calls it cannot handle?
It takes a message, captures contact details, and flags the call in your dashboard for a callback - never a dead end.
